CDC Healthier Worksite Initiative was developed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention as a resource for worksite health promotion program planners. Here you will find information, resources, and step-by-step toolkits to help you improve the health of your employees, including how to establish a stairwell program, and cost-calculators for worksite wellness cost savings.

Doing Well By Being Well: Designing Win Win Wellness Programs is a publication of the Healthy Ohioans Business Council in cooperation with the Healthy Ohioans Program.  Here you’ll find information about
the benefits of wellness programs, resources to help you develop your own program, and examples of strategies and tactics that have proven successful.

Psychologically Healthy Workplace Program offers resources and tools to help create a psychologically healthy worksite. Here you will find current research articles, an e-newsletter, and information on different types of psychologically healthy workplace practices.

School Employee Wellness Guide is a web site created to promote and support SCHOOL EMPLOYEE WELLNESS: A Guide for Protecting the Assets of Our Nation's Schools.  Here you will find a comprehensive guide that provides information, practical tools and resources for school employee wellness programs.

Start! Worksite Wellness Walking Program was created by the American Heart Association.  Here you will find tips and resources to set up “Start! Walking” routes in the workplace, encourage employees to use them, and celebrate and reward those employees who go from a sedentary lifestyle to a more active one. Wellness Councils of America provides a vast array of resources for worksite wellness including white papers, case studies, workplace checklists, surveys, and tools.  Some resources are free while others are available through the members' only website.
